As part of our passport to the world topic, year 3 and 4 were lucky enough to visit Wagamama, a Japanese restaurant in Hereford, to learn all about Japanese cuisine.
Activities included tasting fresh ingredients, chopstick lessons from the head chef, preparing and cooking our own meals and making fresh fruit and vegetable juices. We all had a great time and enjoyed eating the food we had made ourselves. Â We tried some very unusual food including the following;
Menma, Edamme beans, Pickled aubergine, Pickled cucumber, Pickled mooli, Pickled ginger, Mixed pickles, Dried coconut and Fried shallots.
Here are a few photographs showing you a little of what we got up to.
