Last term, some Year 3 and 4 pupils attended songwriting and composition club. Each week, the children were provided with a composition challenge, such as ‘ create a theme tune for a food advert of your choice’. They worked in groups with instruments to create their piece. We also worked as a group towards our final project – a Sutton School Anthem. It was really important to us to incorporate our school vision into the song:
- S – Supporting each other
- P – Preparing for our future
- A – Achieving our potential
Each week, the children worked hard to write their lyrics and add a suitable accompaniment. We are delighted to share our final project with you, we hope you enjoy listening!
